Kindergarten through second grade make up our primary elementary classrooms. The focus in primary grades is for students to become increasingly independent readers, build a solid foundation in mathematical facts and concepts and explore various topics in social studies and science, all through the lens of our faith. Students are instructed in reading at their independent reading level. In all subject areas, students have many engaging activities to choose from.
In grades three through five, students build and expand on their foundational learning. Reading, social studies, science and faith are integrated to allow deep understanding of topics and provide opportunities for deep learning and growth. The development of mathematical concepts expands as students begin to prepare for the middle grades.
