Middle School

Middle school students are prepared for high school and beyond with a focus on advanced academics, leadership, and service. In addition to core subjects, students benefit from electives, project-based learning, and opportunities to grow in faith and responsibility.

6th Grade

Sixth grade marks an exciting transition as students enter middle school and take on new opportunities for leadership, independence, and growth. Our 6th graders serve as middle school buddies to 2nd grade students, guiding them through Mass and modeling faith-filled behavior and kindness.

Academically, students experience a rotating schedule, preparing them for the structure of higher grades while exploring a rich curriculum that includes literature, math, science, social studies, and religion. This new format encourages responsibility, organization, and collaboration across subjects.

One of the highlights of the year is the overnight trip to Camp Seymour, where students deepen friendships, build confidence, and grow in appreciation for God’s creation through outdoor learning and team-building adventures. Sixth grade at All Saints is a year of stepping forward in faith, leadership, and learning.

7th Grade

Seventh grade is a year of deeper discovery, leadership, and connection. Students continue to grow in faith and maturity as they serve as buddies to 1st graders, guiding their younger peers with patience and compassion, especially during Mass and school-wide events.

Academically, 7th graders expand their skills through a rotating class schedule that encourages independence and critical thinking across all subject areas. They also take part in a leadership class, where they learn teamwork, communication, and problem-solving while planning service projects and school activities. 7th Graders participate as the mass readers.

A highlight of the year is the overnight camping trip to Deception Pass, where students strengthen friendships, explore God’s creation, and build confidence through outdoor education and adventure. Seventh grade at All Saints is a time for students to grow as leaders, both in the classroom and in their faith.

8th Grade

Eighth grade is a year of leadership, service, and spiritual growth. Our 8th graders serve as buddies to kindergarten students, guiding them through Mass and supporting them during Friday morning prayer, helping the youngest learners feel confident and included in our faith traditions.

They take an active role in leading Friday morning prayer, practicing on the microphone to celebrate birthdays, awards, and prayer intentions.

Academically and socially, 8th graders act as role models, demonstrating responsibility, collaboration, and integrity across the school.

Students also enjoy a multi-night camping trip to La Push, where they grow in teamwork, resilience, and appreciation for God’s creation. Beyond the school walls, 8th graders serve the wider community, helping pack hundreds of backpacks for youth in need. As the leaders of All Saints, 8th graders set an example of faith, service, and leadership for the entire school community.
